In the middle of October 2016, several users were reporting strange goings on in the manual actions section of Google Search Console. For some unknown reason, manual actions were not being displayed although they were still being issued.
Google’s John Mueller confirmed the bug just over a week ago and informed users that a fix was in the pipeline. We are happy to report that the issue has now been resolved and that everything is now back to normal!
The main problem with the bug was that webmasters were still able to work on the issues affecting their search positions – but they were unable to file reconsideration requests. However, the problem has now been rectified and full functionality has been restored.
