Google Redesigns Structured Data Testing Tool

Google’s structured data testing tool has been totally overhauled. The testing tool has a friendlier look to it by including an overlay box which either asks you for a snippet of sample code or the URL of the website you are wanting to test.

Google will tell you if you do or do not validate when you plug the new testing tool in. If you don’t validate you’ll have to click to see each schema and the errors behind each one. This change could have been implemented by Google instead of displaying every error on one page. To see the errors relating to a particular schema you now click into each one using the arrows next to that schema.

Google released this over Thursday night and Friday morning.
